New myVRS Financial Wellness Dashboard Puts You in the Driver’s Seat
Your favorite streaming service or grocery app already know a lot about your viewing and shopping habits; so the content they provide keeps you in the driver’s seat.
Thanks to a revamped dashboard and several new features, you can expect a similar level of customization from myVRS Financial Wellness, your one-stop shop for all things financial.
Launched in 2017, myVRS Financial Wellness already provides a core set of money resources to help you plan and achieve financial goals, understand your personal relationship with money or act strategically to reduce credit card debt, save at tax time or fund that dream cruise.
Now, the program is even better tailored to your individual financial needs and interests.
Getting Started
Any VRS member can access myVRS Financial Wellness. If you have already registered for a myVRS account, simply enter your credentials and use the top menu to navigate to financial wellness. If you haven’t yet created your myVRS account, we strongly encourage you to do so to take advantage of the full capabilities of myVRS Financial Wellness.
Once logged in, you’ll see a revamped dashboard that includes a new left-hand menu with choices such as your Outlook, and your Favorites. In the main space of the dashboard, you’ll see recommendations and tasks based on your priorities and interests. You may be prompted, for example, to create a budget or to watch a video on how to manage student loan debt.
Be sure to take two assessments that will help lay the groundwork for getting the most out of myVRS Financial Wellness. One is the Financial Wellness Checkup, which asks about your financial beliefs and stressors as well as your goals. The other is the What is Your Money Personality? quiz. Then you can get started on tasks like building a budget or sharpening your forecast for when you may be ready to retire.
Additional changes will be coming to the platform soon. You’ll be able to accumulate experience points and earn badges for your progress, for example.
