Employer Update

The changeover to Voya Financial is off to a quick start, with more than 16,000 VRS defined contribution plan participants registering their online accounts since early January.

VRS and Voya appreciate your continued partnership in the transition, as you encourage employees to log in or register their DCP Accounts.

To provide greater information security, Voya requires a Personal Identification Number (PIN) for first-time registration of online accounts and financial transactions by phone.

Who Needs a PIN? New hires, employees who did not have an online account with MissionSquare, and employees who were registered but had an invalid email address received a PIN via U.S. mail (letters mailed in late December). They should use the PIN to establish their online accounts or save their PIN in a secure location for future use in conducting business by phone.

Who Doesn’t Need a PIN? Employees who already had an online DCP account with MissionSquare do not need a PIN to establish their new Voya DCP account. Instead, they should visit the login site and authenticate their identity through a code sent to their email.

Once employees establish their accounts, they can begin exploring the interactive tools and professional services now available through Voya, including:

• The Voya Retire mobile app, which offers fast, easy access to their accounts.
• Voya Learn, which provides live and on-demand sessions to help them explore their overall financial wellness and take actions to improve their financial outlook.
• An assortment of Voya online calculators that will help them refine their retirement strategies.
