In study after study, researchers have found a strong correlation between an employee’s financial wellness and workplace productivity. In fact, the 2021 Workplace Wellness Survey, conducted by the Employee Benefit Research Institute (EBRI), found that more than six in 10 employees say thinking about their financial future makes them feel stressed. Almost half of those surveyed said that worrying about finances distracts them from work.

Approximately half of the employees surveyed by EBRI said that workplace financial wellness programs contribute a great deal to them feeling financially secure.
