MBPs for Members Post in myVRS Later This Summer
The 2022 Member Benefit Profiles (MBPs) for employees in Plan 1, Plan 2 or the Hybrid Retirement Plan represent a great starting point for members to begin assessing their overall retirement readiness.
The MBP is an annual benefit statement based on information employers report to VRS as of June 30. It provides account balance information, retirement eligibility and eligibility for other benefits, such as group life insurance and the health insurance credit.
VRS will email you when MBPs are ready. If you have members who do not have online access, you can look up their MBPs in myVRS Navigator through your employer access view.
Remind members who haven’t used myVRS to claim their accounts: Member account management has never been simpler – or more secure – than it is with myVRS. It's a security best practice for members to verify their online accounts, which helps prevent someone else from attempting to lay claim to the accounts fraudulently.
Using their password-protected myVRS accounts, members can access free retirement planning and financial wellness services, including videos, articles, budgeting tools and more.
