What resources are available to help me promote myVRS to employees?

With the addition of new features and services in recent years – and more soon to come – myVRS has grown into a robust online portal to help members plan for retirement at every stage of working life.

Use the myVRS Toolkitto remind members to register for myVRS and keep their email address and other contact information updated. The toolkit also will help you engage members in the retirement planning tools available to them in their myVRS accounts – including the Retirement Planner, the Benefit Estimator and the innovative financial education resource, myVRS Financial Wellness.

The toolkit features ready-made content you can share across your workplace:

  • Email messages.
  • Intranet messaging.
  • Newsletter articles.
  • Flyers for posting in your workplace or sharing online.
  • Short posts for social media/intranet/enews.
  • Graphic images.

Copy and paste from the kit or adapt to suit your needs. You also can download graphics from the toolkit webpage to use with communications you share with employees.

We appreciate your partnership in helping employees take a more active role in their own retirement planning and financial well-being.

The myVRS account is also an important tool in retirement. Active member accounts will transition to a retiree account after the first benefit payment is issued. Retirees can use their myVRS accounts to change tax withholding and print income verification and tax documents.
