Track All VRS-Related Legislation

During each General Assembly session, VRS tracks legislation that will affect benefits, policies and procedures. In the 2024 session, which opened January 10, lawmakers introduced bills addressing several VRS-related matters, including:
- Return-to-work rules.
- Law enforcement and emergency personnel eligibility for enhanced hazardous duty retirement benefits.
- Line of Duty Act benefits and participation.
As the status of bills change throughout the session, VRS will update the tracker.
